Sweet Feed Treats

½ lb Oat-Based Sweet Feed
¼ lb Flour
2 Cups Molasses
¾ Cup Beer

  1.  Preheat oven to a low temperature (200-250°F).
  2.  Mix flour, molasses and beer thoroughly, making sure the flour is well-blended.
  3.  Add sweet feed slowly, covering all particles.
  4.  Divide mixture between two pans.
  5.  Place pans in oven. Keep an eye on the bars, and as the mixture begins to set, remove the pans from the oven and cut into desired-sized bars (approximately 20 per pan). Then place the pans back into the oven and bake until the bars are completely dry.
  6.  Remove pans from oven to cool. Once completely cool, remove the treats from the pans.
  7.  Wrap each bar or place into sandwich baggies for easier handling.

**These bars can be very sticky if they are not baked until completely dry. Baking times can vary.

**For a healthier option, replace sweet feed with whole grains and grated carrots or apples.
