Sweet Feed Treats

½ lb Oat-Based Sweet Feed
¼ lb Flour
2 Cups Molasses
¾ Cup Beer
- Preheat oven to a low temperature (200-250°F).
- Mix flour, molasses and beer thoroughly, making sure the flour is well-blended.
- Add sweet feed slowly, covering all particles.
- Divide mixture between two pans.
- Place pans in oven. Keep an eye on the bars, and as the mixture begins to set, remove the pans from the oven and cut into desired-sized bars (approximately 20 per pan). Then place the pans back into the oven and bake until the bars are completely dry.
- Remove pans from oven to cool. Once completely cool, remove the treats from the pans.
- Wrap each bar or place into sandwich baggies for easier handling.
**These bars can be very sticky if they are not baked until completely dry. Baking times can vary.
**For a healthier option, replace sweet feed with whole grains and grated carrots or apples.
